Amenities of the House
Harrington House Bed and Breakfast offers 2 rooms for your enjoyment, Room 1 has an ensuite bath, the second room has aprivate bath. Both rooms have Kingsdown Ortho queen sized beds, quality bedding and thick fluffy towels.
We offer a varied full breakfast each morning between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know at time of booking so we may be prepared for your arrival.
Cable television, board games, wireless internet and a reading area are available for our guests. As well, our property and gardens offer a number of tranquil spots to read, enjoy a drink and a quiet moment.
Bridgetown and the surrounding area have numerous attractions, parks and sites for you to see and enjoy. Click on the "Day Tripping" link to see what is currently available and for sample itineries. Up to date information on accommodations and restaurants we recommend are available at all times in the House. Plus, Roberta and I are always available for questions.
General Policies
No smoking inside the house.
No pets allowed - we have a very friendly Cocker Spaniel called Niles, he does not reside in the main house.
Please inquire regarding children. The House is not conducive to active young children.
Alcoholic beverages are allowed in moderation.

Payment can be made in Cash, Travellers Cheques or Personal Cheques
Payment is preferred on checkin.
Check-in time is 3:00PM (1500) Checkout time is 10:00AM (1000)
Children over 13 are charged full extra person price. Children under 10 staying in the same room as their parents will be charged $10.00 per day. There is no extra charge for infants.
Reservation Policy
To guarantee a booking, a deposit is required.
Cancellations on guaranteed rooms will be accepted 48 hours prior to arrival.
A one night booking charge will be levied for cancellations less than 48 hours and for no shows.

Driving Directions to Harrington House
Harrington House Bed and Breakfast is located in the picturesque Town of Bridgetown (pop. 1020) in the beautiful Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada..
Bridgetown is located 20 km east of Annapolis Royal, 45 km east of Digby and 20km west of Middleton.
In Bridgetown, Harrington House is located on Granville Street. Highway #1 through the Valley turns into Granville Street in town and runs east-west. We are close to the center of Town being 1 & 1/2 blocks from Queen St. the commercial center of Bridgetown. While a 2 lane Highway outside town, Granville Street is a quiet, tree lined street in town with a 50 kph (30 MPH) speed limit.
Bridgetown can also be reached via Highway 101, the limited access Highway running through the Valley. This Highway runs from Halifax to Windsor to Yarmouth N.S. and connects at Digby with the ferry to Saint John, New Brunswick.
Bridgetown has Exits 20 and 21 off of Highway 101. Exit 20 places you on Granville St. 1.5 km (1 mile) from the House and is the easiest route.
